Whether working in corporate wellness, public health, or performance coaching, you’ll be equipped to support individuals and organisations in achieving their wellbeing goals.

What does the course look like?

Our Sports Pathway is structured into levels, offering a flexible and asynchronous learning experience. Learners who have completed Grade 10 (or equivalent) begin at Level 3, while those who have finished high school start at Level 4, where they’ll select either the Bachelor of Management in Sport and Leisure or the Bachelor of Exercise in Sport and Leisure.

Each level consists of diverse modules, detailed in our course booklet, and the programme is fully online, making it accessible from anywhere in the world — though we highly recommend attending our BGA Hubs for a more immersive experience in flexible schooling.

Upon completing Level 6, Learners will earn their chosen bachelor’s degree from eta College in South Africa.

How Do the Levels Work?

  1. Level 3
Designed for Learners aged 16+ without a high school diploma. With quarterly intakes, this level has a unique structure due to a different accrediting body. Completion awards a Further Education and Training (FET) Certificate in Fitness.
  2. Level 4
High school graduates start here, selecting one of two specialised degree paths. The programme is asynchronous, with one intake per year.
  3. Level 5
Building on Level 4, Learners move into the second year of study with continued flexibility in learning and new modules to deepen knowledge.
  4. Level 6
The final level continues with the learning model, awarding either a Bachelor of Management in Sport and Leisure or a Bachelor of Exercise in Sport and Leisure from eta College in South Africa upon completion.
